Quality Standard of YR Fitness

That’s why we are confident to compete with big brand quality, but at 1/5 price.

Built with Strength: 3.0mm Solid Steel Pipes

We use thick 3.0mm+ Q235 steel pipes for every part of the machine — whether it’s the frame or the training area, no matter the size. With added reinforcement bends, our machines stay strong and steady. No shaking, just solid power.

Commercial Power Cage 9

Over 20 years, YR Fitness has put $8M into tech—just to bring you better machines.

100% Original Design Since 1997

Because Great Design Makes Great Machines.

Pulley Output Ratio

Leveraging the power of physics, we’ve tailored our pulley output ratio for optimal training. Take our butterfly machines: a 2:1 ratio means a 70kg weight selection delivers a 35kg training load. This higher ratio enhances your workout and saves on weight plate costs.

Commercial quality. Well made. I feel it is just as good as the other top brand benches we have at our club eg Technogym, Matrix etc, but is so much more affordable. All of my order arrived on time and the sales manager was awesome to communicate with. Highly recommend!!!

Commercial Power Cage Types

Power Cage With Pulley

It is a versatile type of gym equipment that allows users to perform a wider range of exercises than a traditional power cage. The pulley system enables cable exercises such as cable curls, triceps extensions, and lat pulldowns, in addition to free weight exercises, providing users with more workout options and helping to maximize the effectiveness of their training sessions.

To get the best performance and reliability, it’s worth checking out commercial gym equipment manufacturers that specialize in power cages designed for both cable and free weight training.

Commercial Power Cage 11

Multifunction Power Cage

It is a comprehensive piece of gym equipment that combines the functionality of multiple machines into one. It typically includes a power cage, cable system, and various attachments such as dip bars, pull-up bars, and adjustable benches. This type of power cage is ideal for those looking to save space and money while still having access to a full range of workout options.

To enhance versatility, it’s often used alongside a bench & rack system, allowing users to perform movements like bench presses, squats, and overhead lifts with greater stability and range. This combination is ideal for those looking to save space and money while maintaining access to a full spectrum of workout options.

Commercial Power Cage 12

Half Power Cage

A half power cage is a space-saving version of a full power cage that is ideal for those with limited space. It typically includes J-hooks, safety spotter arms, and a pull-up bar, providing users with the essential equipment needed for a variety of exercises. If you’re like me and have limited space in your home gym, a half power cage might be just what you need.

Commercial Power Cage 13

Full Power Cage

YR Fitness full power cage is a comprehensive piece of gym equipment that includes a range of features for a complete workout experience. This may include J-hooks, safety spotter arms, pull-up bars, weight storage, and more. A full power cage provides users with ample space for exercises and equipment and can be used for a wide range of exercises and workout routines.

Commercial Power Cage 14

CrossFit Cage

The CrossFit cage is another type of commercial power cage designed for high-intensity functional training. It typically includes multiple grip positions, attachments for suspension trainers, and space for dynamic movements like muscle-ups and box step-overs. Its open, modular design supports both strength and metabolic conditioning work, making it a popular option in group training zones or CrossFit-style gyms.

If you’re outfitting a commercial gym and want to offer members more exercise variety in a single station, YR Fitness can help you build a setup that’s functional and space-efficient. Talk to us about your pulley cage options.

Power Cage vs Power Rack

Design

A power cage is a four-sided, enclosed structure with safety pins or bars on the sides. The safety pins or bars allow the user to perform exercises with heavy weights without a spotter. A power rack, on the other hand, has two parallel vertical bars with horizontal safety bars that can be adjusted for height.

Space

Power cages tend to be larger and require more space than power racks. This is because the cage has four sides, while the rack only has two. Although power cages take up more space than power racks, I personally prefer them because of the added safety and versatility that comes with the four-sided design.

Versatility

A power cage generally offers more versatility than a power rack. A power cage can be used for exercises such as squats, bench presses, pull-ups, and even dips. A power rack, while it can be used for similar exercises, may not offer as many options as a power cage.

Safety

Both power cages and power racks from YR Fitness offer safety features, but the safety pins or bars on a power cage provide more protection against injury. This is because the safety pins or bars completely surround the user, while the safety bars on a power rack only cover the sides.

Considerations When Buying Commercial Power Cage

Safety Features

Safety should be the top priority when selecting a power cage. This means looking for a cage that includes safety features such as safety bars or spotter arms that can catch the weight if you are unable to lift it. These features should be adjustable to accommodate different exercises and users. Additionally, the cage should be stable and not wobble during use, as this can cause accidents and injuries.

Size and Space

Before purchasing a power cage, it’s important to measure the space in your gym or fitness facility to ensure that the cage will fit comfortably. You should also consider the size of the cage itself and whether it will accommodate your clients’ needs. Some cages may be too small for taller individuals or too large for smaller spaces.

Weight Capacity

Power cages from YR Fitness come with different weight capacities, so it’s important to choose one that can support the maximum weight you or your clients will be lifting. You don’t want to risk the cage failing or breaking during use, which can result in serious injuries.

Adjustability

A power cage that is easily adjustable is essential for accommodating different exercises and users of different heights. The safety bars and J-cups should be adjustable to different heights, so that users can perform exercises at the appropriate level. I suggest this to ensure the safety of your clients during exercises.

Durability and Warranty

A commercial power cage is an investment, so you want to make sure it is durable and long-lasting. Look for a cage that is made from high-quality materials, such as heavy-duty steel, and has a solid construction. Additionally, a warranty is important to protect your investment in case of any defects or damages that may occur during use.
